Social Media Intern
Location: Lekki, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement:
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media platforms in a timely and professional manner
- Engage with followers, customers, and online communities to build strong relationships
- Monitor conversations, mentions, and brand tags
- Escalate customer complaints or sensitive issues to the appropriate team
Social Media Support:
- Assist in scheduling and posting content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Support the development of captions and basic content ideas
- Help maintain the content calendar to ensure consistency.
Content & Trend Support:
- Identify social media trends and suggest relevant content ideas
- Source user-generated content (UGC) and support content curation
- Assist during content shoots, events, or campaigns when required.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track basic engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, DMs)
- Assist in preparing simple social media performance reports
- Provide insights on audience behavior and engagement trends.
Administrative Support:
- Support the team with day-to-day social media tasks
- Maintain organized records of content, responses, and interactions
- Assist with any other marketing-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields
- Strong interest in social media and digital marketing
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut) is an advantage
- Creative, proactive, and eager to learn.
