Frontend Developer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable web applications using React.js.
- Connect the frontend to complex RESTful APIs, handling asynchronous data, loading states, and error catching.
- Establish and maintain a reusable UI component library system.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate user needs and business goals into functional and engaging web applications.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure smooth and responsive user experiences.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing to ensure application reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience building applications with React.js and Next.js.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, etc.
- Proficiency with software engineering best practices including writing production quality code, agile development, version control.
