Junior Accountant
Location: Sangotedo, Lekki - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time.
Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with basic accounting tasks while serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors.
- This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting operations, including recording transactions and maintaining financial records
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and basic financial reports
- Support bank reconciliations and expense tracking
- Handle petty cash and monitor office expenses
- Welcome and attend to clients and visitors in a professional manner
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct them appropriately
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Provide administrative support to the team as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be available to resume immediately
- Must reside around Sangotedo or its environs.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
