Medical Laboratory Technician

Description
- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team.
- The successful candidate will perform laboratory tests, analyze samples, and maintain equipment to support accurate diagnoses and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and procedures according to standard protocols.
- Collect, process, and analyze biological samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.).
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and machinery.
- Record and report test results accurately and efficiently.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel and healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Relevant experience in a laboratory setting (clinical or research).
- Certification (e.g., MLT, CLT) preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Compliance with laboratory safety protocols.
- Ability to lift and move equipment/materials.
- Flexibility for shift work (if applicable).
- Continuous learning and professional development.
Certifications/ Licenses:
- MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) certification.
- State-specific licenses (if required).
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
