Home Economics Teacher
Location: Lugbe, Abuja (FCT)

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and deliver interactive, learner-focused lessons that cater to the varying abilities and needs of students.
- Employ modern and creative teaching approaches that foster analytical thinking, innovation, and curiosity.
- Continuously monitor, assess, and record student performance using tests, classwork, assignments, and constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, parents, and stakeholders to support the academic and personal growth of students.
- Establish and maintain a disciplined, safe, and engaging classroom environment that enhances effective learning.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
- A Bachelor’s Degree (or NCE)in Home Economics, Home Management, Food & Nutrition, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- With 2 -10 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Possession of the TRCN certification is an added advantage.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver effective and result-oriented lessons.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
