Finance Specialist

Summary
- A reputable organization is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and resourceful Finance & Funding Specialist with proven expertise in accessing credit facilities, grants, and funding opportunities from financial institutions and development agencies.
Key Responsibilties
- Identify, apply for, and secure loans, grants, and funding opportunities from banks and financial institutions
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with NEXIM, AFREXIMBANK, Bank of Industry (BOI), NIMASA-CVFF, NCDMB, and similar funding agencies
- Develop compelling funding proposals and business cases for facility applications
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for credit facilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with funding requirements and covenants
- Track and leverage funding opportunities aligned with organizational objectives
- Prepare financial reports and documentation required by funding institutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years' experience of atleast 5 years in corporate finance, particularly in facility structuring and fundraising
- Proven track record of successfully accessing loans, grants, and facilities from banks and development finance institutions
- Strong existing relationships with NEXIM, AFREXIMBANK, BOI, NCDMB, and commercial banks
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of Nigerian financial regulatory environment
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
