Warehouse Manager
Location: Bashorun Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Days: Tuesday - Sunday
Time: 9am-5pm
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure on-time delivery and high productivity.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts and audits, and manage stock levels to prevent discrepancies.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff (supervisors, forklift operators, pickers), creating shift schedules and fostering a safe working environment.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, maintain security of the building and stock, and conduct regular equipment inspections.
- Systems & Efficiency: Optimize warehouse layout for space utilization, inventory tracking, and analyze data to improve workflows.
- Liaison & Reporting: Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and customers; prepare operational reports, budgets, and performance metrics for senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: OND/HND with proven work experience (often 2-3+ years) as a warehouse manager or supervisor.
- Leadership: Strong communication, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lead in a physically demanding, often fast-paced, environment.
Salary
N100,000 monthly.
