ICT Lab Assistant
Location: Lugbe, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the ICT laboratory
- Help in maintaining computers, printers, and other ICT equipment in good working condition
- Support basic installation of software and routine system updates
- Provide assistance to users during practical sessions and examinations
- Monitor proper use of ICT facilities and report faults or misuse
- Perform simple troubleshooting and report major technical issues to the supervisor
- Keep records of equipment usage, faults, and basic inventory
- Assist in setting up computers and devices for classes, exams, and training
- Ensure the ICT lab is clean, organized, and secure at all times
General Qualifications
- OND, Diploma, or NCE in Computer Studies, ICT, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of computer operations and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to carry out simple troubleshooting on computers and devices
- Good record-keeping and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Honest, reliable, and willing to learn on the job.
