Description
- The Risk & Compliance Officer will support the organization in identifying, assessing and mitigating operational, financial, regulatory and reputational risks while ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess organizational risks.
- Maintain risk registers and risk-control frameworks.
- Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Conduct compliance reviews and assessments.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies.
- Investigate compliance breaches.
- Monitor implementation of corrective actions.
- Support internal and external regulatory audits.
- Prepare risk and compliance reports for management.
- Conduct staff compliance awareness programmes.
- Monitor anti-fraud and anti-corruption controls.
- Support business continuity and crisis-management planning.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND/LL.B. in a relevant discipline.
- 2–5 years' risk, compliance, audit or regulatory experience.
- Relevant professional certification such as CRMA, CISA, ICA, CISI or compliance certification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of risk-management principles.
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills.
- Strong regulatory awareness.
Salary
N250,000 - N400,000 per month.
