Coaster Bus / SUV Driver

Job Summary
- E&R Standard Gate Limited is hiring an experienced and responsible Driver to join our car rental and mobility operations.
- The successful candidate will alternate between driving a Coaster Bus and regular vehicles based on operational requirements.
- This role requires a highly attentive, safety-conscious, and disciplined driver who is experienced in handling both passenger buses and different types of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate Coaster buses and regular vehicles for car rental, corporate, staff transportation, airport transfer, and other mobility services.
- Alternate between Coaster bus driving and regular vehicle driving based on company operational needs.
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and timely transportation of clients and passengers.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Ensure assigned vehicles are kept clean, presentable, and in good working condition.
- Promptly report faults, damages, accidents, and maintenance requirements.
- Carry out routine checks on tyres, brakes, lights, engine oil, coolant, fuel levels, and other essential vehicle components.
- Comply strictly with traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and trip instructions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate trip records and other required documentation.
- Handle all company and client vehicles with a high level of care and responsibility.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude when dealing with clients and passengers.
- Remain alert, focused, and attentive at all times while driving.
- Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and extended hours when required.
Requirements
- Valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence.
- Valid LASDRI ID.
- Valid Defensive Driving Certificate.
- Proven experience driving both Coaster buses and regular vehicles.
- Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic routes.
- Strong understanding of defensive driving and road safety practices.
- Ability to remain alert, focused, and calm in different driving conditions.
- Responsible, disciplined, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in car rental, logistics, transportation, or corporate driving will be an added advantage.
Remuneration
- Salary: N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
- Accommodation is provided.
