Title: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse

Description
- The successful candidate will provide prompt, professional and compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with medical emergencies.
- The ideal candidate should be clinically competent, calm under pressure and capable of making sound decisions in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial assessment and triage of patients presenting to the emergency room.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical conditions.
- Provide immediate nursing interventions and emergency care as required.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during emergency procedures.
- Prepare patients for examinations, procedures and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and nursing documentation.
- Assist with wound care, dressing and other appropriate nursing procedures.
- Ensure emergency equipment, medications and supplies are available and properly maintained.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and work collaboratively with the clinical team.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with professional nursing standards and healthcare policies.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Degree in Nursing or relevant nursing qualification is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of emergency nursing procedures and patient assessment.
- Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Good documentation and organizational skills.
Salary
N150,000 - N350,000 monthly.
