Pharmacist Superintendent

Job Summary
- The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of pharmacy operations to ensure the safe dispensing of medicines, compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Job Description
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates in compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Maintain all licenses, permits, and regulatory registrations for the premises.
- Implement and regularly review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with controlled medicines regulations and record-keeping requirements.
- Supervise the safe and accurate dispensing of prescription medicines.
- Provide professional pharmaceutical advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Oversee medicine procurement and supplier relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and minimize stock shortages and wastage.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for medicines and vaccines.
- Manage controlled drug inventories and conduct regular audits.
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.Sc Degree with 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
