Description
- A leading multinational manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major greenfield factory project in Abuja, Nigeria.
- This is a high-impact senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished project professional with proven experience managing complex industrial or manufacturing projects from inception through execution and completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall planning, coordination and execution of the project.
- Own project timelines, budgets and delivery milestones.
- Manage engineering/design teams, contractors, vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate construction, installation and commissioning activities.
- Conduct project/site meetings and monitor project progress.
- Manage project risks and ensure timely mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
- Provide regular project reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Drive successful project completion within agreed timelines and budget.
Requirements
- First Degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 17 years of professional experience.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
- Proven end-to-end project management experience.
- Strong experience managing contractors, vendors and engineering partners.
- Experience in manufacturing operations, particularly production and maintenance.
- Experience with greenfield/brownfield factory, plant or industrial projects is highly desirable.
- Experience in can manufacturing/factory setup is an added advantage.
- Strong candidates from Oil & Gas/EPC and other complex industrial project environments may also be considered.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
