Job Description
- The Economics Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Economics lessons in line with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum, while fostering critical thinking, financial literacy, and excellent academic performance among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Economics to Junior and Senior Secondary School students.
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials.
- Deliver engaging and interactive classroom lessons.
- Assess, record, and evaluate students' academic performance regularly.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO, etc.).
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and professional development programmes.
- Communicate effectively with school management and parents regarding students' progress when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Education (Economics), or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a secondary school.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to use modern teaching methods and educational technology.
- TRCN certification is an added advantage.
- Must be passionate about teaching and student development.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
