Summary
We are looking for a smart, young man who will serve the company as a dispatcher that will collect and deliver packages and documents via a motorcycle, focusing on efficient routing,
timely delivery, and customer service while adhering to traffic laws and maintaining the motorcycle.
Your key duties include route planning, handling waybills, updating delivery records, ensuring package safety, and communicating with customers effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Collection:Pick up and deliver items (documents, and parcels) to specified locations, ensuring timely and safe transport.
Route Management:Plan efficient routes to meet tight schedules and navigate city traffic effectively.
Customer Interaction:Communicate with customers for pickup/delivery confirmations, resolve issues, and obtain signatures.
Documentation:Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and status updates.
Vehicle Care:Perform basic maintenance and keep the assigned bike or motorcycle clean and in good working order.
Safety & Compliance:Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
Reporting:Communicate with supervisorsabout delivery status, incidents, or mechanical issues.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Valid license (if using a motorcycle) and good driving record.
Strong navigation and time management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
Must resident in Kano (Sabon Gari added advantage).
