Operations Manager
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Summary
- Citi Residence Lagos is seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensure excellent guest service, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel and ensure smooth coordination of all departments.
- Supervise and motivate staff to maintain high standards of service, discipline, grooming, and professionalism.
- Ensure excellent guest satisfaction and promptly resolve guest complaints and operational issues.
- Monitor room occupancy, revenue, expenses, and overall hotel performance.
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to drive occupancy, corporate business, and revenue.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance, Security, Food & Beverage, and other departments.
- Monitor inventory, maintenance, facilities, and general hotel standards.
- Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Develop strategies to improve guest experience, staff productivity, cost control, and profitability.
- Build and maintain good relationships with corporate clients, vendors, and other business partners.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- A Degree / HND in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hotel operations or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of hotel operations and revenue management.
- Ability to manage staff effectively and work under pressure.
- Must be computer literate and familiar with hotel management systems.
