Medical Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations; diagnose and manage medical conditions; prescribe medicines; review laboratory results; manage emergencies and admitted patients; supervise clinical care; arrange referrals; maintain accurate records; and participate in day, night and weekend duties.
Requirements
- MBBS / MBChB; full MDCN registration; current practising licence; completed housemanship and NYSC; and preferably at least two years’ post-NYSC experience. BLS certification is desirable.
- Current professional registration and practising licence where applicable.
- Verifiable employment history and references.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Willingness to undertake shift, weekend or night duties where required.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 / month.
