Job Summary 

• Freejob postingWe are seeking a competent, compassionate, and dedicated Medical Officer to join our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, medical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Take accurate patient histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients.
• Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic investigations where necessary.
• Prescribe medications and provide appropriate medical advice.
• Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment.
• Attend to emergency cases and provide prompt medical intervention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
• Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide health education and counselling to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and professional standards.
• Participate in call duties and other clinical responsibilities as required.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Contribute to quality improvement and other hospital activities.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution with 2-3 years experience.
• Full registration and a valid practising licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Previous clinical experience is an advantage.
• Good clinical judgement and strong patient-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Compassionate, professional, and patient-centred approach to care.
