Job Summary
- Our client is in need of an experienced, strategic, and people-focused Head of HR to lead the organization’s human resources function, strengthen HR processes, drive employee engagement, and develop effective talent management strategies across the business.
- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, in-depth knowledge of HR best practices, and the ability to align people strategies with organizational objectives.
- The successful candidate will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR operations, organizational development, and compliance while building strong relationships with employees, management, clients, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with the organization’s business objectives and workforce needs.
- Lead and oversee the full recruitment and talent acquisition process, ensuring the organization attracts, selects, and retains high-quality talent.
- Oversee onboarding, workforce planning, performance management, employee development, succession planning, and employee retention initiatives.
- Build and maintain a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement, collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
- Manage employee relations, including addressing grievances, resolving workplace concerns, handling disciplinary matters, and ensuring the fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Review, develop, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and organizational structures to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
- Ensure accurate and timely management of employee records, HR documentation, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and other HR operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, employment regulations, company policies, and organizational standards.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, employees, management, and other key stakeholders.
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand workforce requirements, provide appropriate HR solutions, and ensure effective delivery of staffing and people-related services where applicable.
- Provide strategic HR advice and recommendations to senior management on workforce planning, employee performance, organizational development, and people-related matters.
- Prepare and present HR reports, workforce insights, and recommendations to management to support informed business decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, ensuring effective performance, accountability, and achievement of departmental objectives.
- Identify HR challenges and implement practical solutions that improve employee productivity, engagement, and overall business performance.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee, client, and organizational information.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment practices, labor laws, employee relations, and HR best practices.
- Proven experience managing recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, talent development, and HR operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle complex employee and organizational matters.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
- Ability to handle confidential employee, client, and organizational information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to partner effectively with senior management to support organizational growth and performance.
- Available to work Monday- Saturday.
