Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee engineering, maintenance, utilities, building systems, and facility operations.
- The successful candidate will ensure that the hotel's facilities remain safe, functional, reliable, and maintained to a high operational standard.
Responsibilities
- Manage all hotel facility and maintenance operations.
- Oversee electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, generator, and building systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate planned and emergency maintenance.
- Supervise Maintenance Technicians and contractors.
- Ensure hotel facilities remain safe, functional, and guest-ready.
- Monitor generator and utility operations.
- Maintain maintenance records and equipment logs.
- Manage maintenance materials, tools, and spare parts.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies.
- Support maintenance requirements for guest rooms, public areas, rooftop bar, kitchen, gym, and conference facilities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- HND or B.Sc. Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, commercial building, or facility management is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Experience managing technical teams and contractors.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to respond to emergencies and work on-call when required.
