Site Supervisor

Job Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are executed according to approved drawings, designs, specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to translate drawings and designs into effective site execution.

Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities
Ensure work is executed strictly in line with approved drawings, designs, and specifications
Interpret construction drawings and communicate design requirements to site workers
Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with project standards
Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on site
Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox meetings
Manage and supervise artisans, laborers, and subcontractors
Track material usage, equipment, and site resources
Liaise with engineers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
Identify and resolve site issues promptly and escalate complex matters when required
Prepare and submit daily and weekly site progress reports
Ensure proper housekeeping and orderliness of the site
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Civil Engineering or Building Technology
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, design interpretation, and basic design principles
Minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience in a similar site supervisory role
Practical experience supervising building or civil works projects
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to read, interpret, and work with architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
Good understanding of construction methods and materials
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Excellent communication and reporting abilities
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Good time management and organizational skills
Basic computer skills (AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage)
Working Conditions:
Full-time on-site role
May require extended hours, weekend work, or shift duties depending on project demands
Exposure to construction site conditions with required safety measures in place

Compliance with drawings, designs, and specifications
Quality of workmanship and site execution
Safety compliance and incident prevention
Timely delivery of site activities
Accuracy and timeliness of site reports
