Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security personnel to ensure optimal coverage and effectiveness.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures in line with industry standards.
- Conduct regular security inspections and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies, managing incidents according to established protocols.
- Train and mentor security staff to maintain high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, staff performance, and operational activities for management review.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary to enhance security measures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or in a similar role within the security industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team of security personnel.
- In-depth knowledge of security operations, emergency response procedures, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in using security systems, surveillance equipment, and reporting software.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordination purposes.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
