Medical Laboratory Scientist
Location: Ago / Okota, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
To perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations
To prepare specimens, samples and reagents
To operate and ensure regular maintenance of laboratory equipment
To participate in equipment validations, calibrations, quality controls and assessment
To ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced
To promptly and accurately record laboratory results and present to pathologist for approval.
To ensure safety of all data records and generated in the laboratory
To keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability
To ensure and adhere to standard laboratory safety measures and checks.
Involved with scientific meetings in the department.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 2 - 4 years work experience.
Salary
N180,000 per month.
