Lecturer I (Mass Communication)

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess the following:
A Ph.D. degree in Mass Communication or a closely related discipline from a recognized university OR a Master’s degree in Mass Communication with evidence of significant progress toward a Ph.D.
At least three (3) years teaching and research experience at the university level or equivalent.
Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals, consistent with the requirements for Lecturer I.
Demonstrated competence in teaching undergraduate courses in Mass Communication.
Ability to engage in research and contribute to knowledge through publications.
Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., NIPR, APCON, ARCON) will be an added advantage.
Adequate ICT skills and familiarity with modern teaching and learning methods.
