Pharmacy Trainee

Role Overview
- We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Pharmacy Trainee to join our team in Victoria Island.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a recent pharmacy graduate to gain hands-on practical experience in a fast-paced retail and clinical pharmacy environment under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by advising patients on proper drug usage, dosage, and side effects
- Receive, sort, and organize pharmaceutical products in the inventory/store
- Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, checking expiry dates, and maintaining inventory records
- Maintain accurate dispensing and sales records in the pharmacy software
- Ensure the pharmacy is clean, well-organized, and compliant with NAFDAC and regulatory standards
- Support with compounding, reconstitution, and packaging of medications when required
- Handle customer enquiries, referrals, and escalations to the pharmacist professionally
- Participate in all training programs and rotations assigned by the supervising pharmacist
Requirements & Qualifications
- B.Pharm, PharmD, or OND in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
- Must have completed NYSC (if applicable) - awaiting posting or recently completed is welcome
- 0-1 year experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Good knowledge of drugs, dosage forms, and basic pharmaceutical care
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and honesty
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused, willing to learn, and able to work under supervision
- Must be computer literate
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
