Job Summary
- A leading commercial law firm in Lagos is seeking to hire a smart, proactive and technology-driven Associate Counsel with 2–5 years post-call experience.
- We are looking for a lawyer who combines strong legal fundamentals with commercial awareness, initiative and technological fluency. Someone who is capable of delivering high-quality work, taking ownership and thriving in a fast-paced professional environment.
Requirements
Preferred candidate will ideally have:
- Strong legal drafting, research and analytical skills.
- Experience in corporate and commercial law, regulatory compliance and general legal advisory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong command of Microsoft Office, AI tools, digital workflows and technology-enabled legal practice.
- The ability to work effectively with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and structured professional processes.
- Excellent organisational skills, responsiveness and attention to detail;
- A commercially minded approach and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Advantage:
- The ability to drive, possession of a valid driver's license, and access to a vehicle will be an added advantage.
Salary
N250,000 - N600,000 per month.
