Junior Procurement Officer
Location: Guzape, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Requirements
- Source suppliers and obtain quotations for required materials and services.
- Compare prices and assist in selecting suitable suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Verify deliveries against approved orders in collaboration with the relevant personnel.
- Assist in negotiating prices and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Perform other relevant tasks assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field.
- 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills:
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good organizational and numerical skills.
- Honesty, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
