HR Consultant / Manager

Description
- We are seeking an HR Consultant / Manager to deliver HR consulting services to clients while also overseeing and strengthening our internal HR and operational processes.
- This role combines client-facing HR consulting with internal operations management. The successful candidate will support client organizations with HR solutions while ensuring smooth day-to-day in-house HR and administrative operations within the firm.
Key Responsibilities
HR Consulting (Client-Facing):
- Provide HR advisory and consulting services to all clients
- Support HR strategy development, workforce planning, and organizational design
- Manage recruitment and selection processes for clients
- Develop HR policies, employee handbooks, SOPs, and frameworks
- Design and implement performance management systems
- Advise clients on employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices
- Conduct HR audits and prepare professional HR reports
In-House HR & Operations:
- Manage internal HR operations including onboarding, employee records, and staff welfare
- Support internal performance management, training, and engagement initiatives
- Coordinate internal administrative and operational processes
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
- Support management with operational planning, reporting, and process improvement
- Maintain proper documentation and internal systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years experience in HR consulting, HR operations, or generalist HR roles
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
- Experience managing both client-facing responsibilities and internal operations
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, etc.) is an added advantage
