Accountant (Chartered)

Job Description
- We are seeking a competent, experienced, and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting expertise, professional integrity, and the ability to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective financial management, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and periodic financial reports.
- Oversee account reconciliations, revenue records, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Monitor cash flow, expenditure, and budget performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, statutory requirements, and accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate financial records and effective internal controls.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support management decisions.
- Identify financial discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACA or ACCA).
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- High levels of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Experience in healthcare or a multi-branch organisation will be an added advantage.
