Head of Formulation
Location: Lagos
Job type: Full time (Onsite)
Responsibilities
Lead pharmaceutical formulation including liquid syrups, ensuring adherence to regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
Oversee the development and optimization of pharmaceutical suspensions, emulsions, and other liquid-based formulations.
Manage end-to-end new product development, from conceptualization to commercialization.
Troubleshoot and resolve formulation challenges to enhance stability, efficacy, and manufacturability.
Establish and maintain specifications for new and reformulated products.
Ensure seamless transfer of formulations from R&D to large-scale manufacturing.
Maintain full documentation of formulation trials and prepare necessary reports on feasibility and performance.
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation, with a focus on liquid syrups and suspensions.
Proven experience in drug formulation, stability testing, and scale-up processes.
Hands-on expertise in resolving formulation-related issues during development and manufacturing.
