JOB SUMMARY
A leading agribusiness is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial, statutory, tax, and payroll operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations, maintain accurate records, and support audits and internal controls.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare monthly management accounts, expense reports, and reconciliations
Manage payroll and statutory deductions (PAYE, Pension, NHF, etc.)
Ensure compliance with VAT, WHT, CIT, PENCOM, NSITF, ITF, and CAC requirements
Support audits and maintain internal controls
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years' accounting experience (agriculture, manufacturing, or project-based preferred)
B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field
ICAN/ACCA (qualified or in progress preferred)
Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and accounting software
SKILLS
Excel & accounting software proficiency
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance
