Job Summary
- As the Metal Fabrication QC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all quality control and assurance processes within the fabrication business units.
- You will ensure that all fabricated products meet industry, regulatory, client, and project quality standards while promoting a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards, procedures, and inspection systems in line with applicable codes and regulations
- Conduct daily inspections, in-process verifications, and quality audits across fabrication activities, including welding, piping, plumbing, and sheet metal works
- Ensure regulatory compliance, manage welder certifications, NDE scheduling, documentation control, and preparation of project turnover packages
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives, analyze quality data, mentor junior QC personnel, and collaborate with engineering, estimating, and production teams.
Requirements
- B.Eng / HND in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in metal fabrication quality control
- Professional certification in Quality Control (ISO 9001 knowledge is an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of fabrication codes, welding procedures, inspections, and quality documentation.
Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 monthly.
