Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Paediatric Nurse to provide specialized nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering age-appropriate, family-centered care while ensuring the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence.
The role requires strong clinical judgment, empathy, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote optimal health outcomes for paediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
Monitor, assess, and document patients’ conditions and progress.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the paediatrician.
Assist during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
Educate parents/guardians on treatment plans, preventive care, and child development.
Maintain strict infection prevention and control standards.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license.
Certification in Paediatric Nursing is mandatory.
2–3 years’ experience in a paediatric unit.
Strong clinical and emergency response skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient-focused, and child-friendly demeanor.
