Accident & Emergency Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking a competent and dedicated Accident & Emergency Nurse to provide urgent and critical nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting emergency physicians in delivering timely, safe, and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Triage and assess patients presenting to the emergency unit.
Provide immediate nursing interventions for acute and critical cases.
Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments as prescribed.
Assist doctors during emergency procedures and resuscitation.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are strictly followed.
Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and relatives.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) license.
Post-basic qualification in Accident & Emergency / Critical Care / Emergency Nursing
Minimum of [5] years experience in emergency or acute care setting preferred.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick clinical decisions.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
