Laboratory Scientist
Location: Magodo Phase 2, Shangisha - Lagos

Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and providing accurate results to healthcare professionals.
This role requires attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Effectiveness:
Perform laboratory procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain and improve processing of routine and urgent samples.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of test results.
Customer Service:
Provide fast, efficient, and courteous service to clients.
Liaise with client services officers and other staff to resolve client issues.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Materials Management:
Manage stock usage and prepare stock reports.
Ensure efficient inventory management and minimize waste.
Quality Control:
Perform and document quality control procedures in accordance with MLSCN requirements.
Ensure compliance with ISO and MLSCN standards.
Generate weekly activity logs and reports.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform daily and weekly equipment maintenance, documentation, and technical troubleshooting.
Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a medical laboratory, clinic, or hospital.
Certification from the Associate of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN).
Current practicing license.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and quality control procedures.
