Quality Control Officer
Location: Idimu, Lagos

Job Summary
- The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet internal quality specifications and applicable regulatory standards.
- This role requires strong technical knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, laboratory testing procedures, and quality documentation systems.
- The ideal candidate must be analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving quality-related issues within the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products
- Ensure all outgoing products meet internal specifications and regulatory requirements
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality consistency
- Identify product defects and non-conformities
- Maintain proper documentation of quality tests and inspection reports
- Investigate root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure defective products are quarantined, reworked, or discarded appropriately
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Work closely with production and operations teams to enhance product quality
Requirements
- Minimum of HND or BSc in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing or production environment (experience in car care, detergents, or industrial chemicals is an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and laboratory testing methods
- Familiarity with manufacturing process control and documentation systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting and analysis)
- Age range: 28–33 years
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, disciplined, and quality-driven
- Applicants residing in Idimu, Ikotun, Ejigbo, Egbeda, Ipaja, Isolo, Igando, Iyana Ipaja, and surrounding areas will have an added advantage.
