Position Overview
- The Talent Management / Learning & Development Officer is responsible for implementing programmes that attract, measure, and retain talent.
- The role helps drive training initiatives, equipping staff with the knowledge, skills, and motivation required to perform effectively, while enabling talent development and retention strategies that strengthen organisational capability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support manpower planning processes aligned with the corporate strategy of the organisation
- Develop and review recruitment and selection processes.
- Manage the on-boarding and integration/induction process of new employees
- Identify performance and competency gaps through appraisals, interviews, surveys, or tests.
- Assess learning needs tied to business objectives.
- Manage all training and development programmes.
- Design, manage, and monitor training and development programmes, reporting on effectiveness.
- Implement employee retention programmes in order to lower turnover rate and maintain optimal headcount as per manpower plan
- Identify critical positions and manage high-potential talent pools.
- Track personal development plans for high-potential employees.
- Track implementation of Personal Development plan for high talent pool
- Execute performance management strategies and frameworks.
- Facilitate performance management cycles, act as liaison for appraisals, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with line managers to track performance and ensure targets are achieved.
- Facilitate and monitor employee performance management system and cycles, and ensure the attainment of a high-performance culture within the organisation.
Key Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management Sciences or any other related field. MBA or Masters’ degree in related field is an advantage
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Learning and Development and HR Training roles
- Professional Certification from (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or Analytics certifications) is compulsory.
