Job Summary
- Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Farm Accountant to manage financial records, budget planning, and reporting for farm operations.
- The ideal candidate will ensure accurate accounting practices, timely reporting, and compliance with financial regulations to support smooth farm operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for the farm.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, manage expenses, and handle payroll.
- Support budgeting, cost analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory standards.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting; agricultural experience is an advantage.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
