Job Summary
- A waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by attending to guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customers have a pleasant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers politely as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Present the menu to guests and explain menu items when necessary.
- Take customers’ orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and organized before and after service.
- Check on customers during their meal to ensure they are satisfied with the service and food.
- Handle customer requests, complaints, or special orders politely and professionally.
- Assist in clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
- Process bills and payments when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
