Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Auditing Accountant to support internal audit processes and ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial records.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on auditing experience and the ability to identify risks, improve controls, and support management with reliable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits to assess financial accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations
- Review financial statements, records, and accounting processes for accuracy and completeness
- Identify control gaps, risks, and areas for improvement
- Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations
- Support management in implementing audit recommendations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Assist with audit planning and execution
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
Requirements & Qualifications
- HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–3 years’ experience in an auditing or accounting role
- Strong understanding of auditing standards and accounting principles
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 / month.
