A fast-growing licensed microinsurance company is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee operations and support its mission of delivering affordable insurance solutions to underserved individuals and MSMEs across Nigeria.

Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate daily operational activities.

- Improve processes, service delivery, claims management, and customer experience.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.

- Support the CEO with strategy execution and performance targets.

- Drive digital operations, efficiency, and team performance.

- Manage partnerships, distribution channels, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or related fields; Master’s or professional certification is an added advantage.

- 5–7 years experience within insurance, microfinance, fintech, or financial services.

- Strong understanding of microinsurance operations and regulatory expectations.

- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
