Job Level: Senior Leadership Role

Human Leadership Resources (HLR) is supporting a leading FMCG organisation in Nigeria to recruit a Head of Tax & Treasury.

This role is treasury-led. While it covers both Tax and Treasury, deep treasury and FX expertise is mandatory. Tax competence is important, but treasury leadership is non-negotiable.

Key Focus Areas

- FX strategy and risk management in a volatile currency environment

- Liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and funding strategy

- Senior banking and FX counterparty management

- Tax oversight, governance, and regulatory compliance

- Leadership of treasury and tax teams

Ideal Profile

- Strong treasury leadership experience in large, complex organisations

- Proven FX and liquidity management expertise

- Background in commercial banking, investment institutions, or financial services preferred

- Strong people leadership and senior stakeholder engagement

Requirements

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

- Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CFA or equivalent) preferred

- 8–12 years experience, with at least 5 years in senior management
