Job Summary

The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing learning programs that build employee capability, leadership readiness, and future skills aligned with OmniRetail Technology’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis across departments and roles.

• Design and implement learning programs covering technical, leadership, and soft skills.

• Develop structured learning paths aligned to career progression and role requirements.

• Manage onboarding and continuous learning initiatives across the employee lifecycle.

• Coordinate internal facilitators and external training vendors.

• Track and analyze learning metrics including enrollment, completion, skill coverage, and assessment scores.

• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and annual training calendars.

• Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.

• Measure training effectiveness, business impact, and return on investment (ROI).

Key Metrics / KPIs

• Percentage of roles with skills mapped to defined learning paths.

• Course completion and learner engagement rates.

• Leadership readiness index and bench strength metrics.

• Post-training performance improvement indicators.

• Training ROI and cost efficiency.Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong instructional design and facilitation capability.

• Solid understanding of adult learning principles and learning methodologies.

• Data-driven mindset with strong reporting and analytics skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Hands-on experience with digital learning tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or a related role.

• Experience designing leadership development or capability-building programs.

• Professional certifications in learning, HR, or talent development (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, ATD) are an added advantage.
