Human Resource Assistant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Responsibilities
- Manage employee leave requests and approvals in line with company policy.
- Maintain accurate leave records and leave balances for all staff.
- Provide periodic leave reports to management.
- Support onboarding and induction processes.
- Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR databases.
- Ensure proper filing (physical and electronic) of all HR documents.
- Support onboarding documentation for new hires.
- Draft, format, and circulate internal memos, announcements, and notices.
- Maintain a log/record of all issued memos for reference and compliance.
- Ensure timely communication of HR-related updates to staff.
- Manage employee leave requests and approvals in line with company policy.
- Assist with job postings, CV screening, and interview scheduling.
- Prepare interview materials and coordinate candidate communication.
- Support onboarding and induction processes.
- Serve as a first point of contact for basic HR inquiries.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, Administration, or a related role.
- Experience in recruitment, employee records management, and HR administration is an added advantage.
Skills and competence:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem-solving and administrative skills.
