Human Resources Manager

Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions within the organization.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with business objectives while fostering a high-performance culture.
- The HR Manager will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development initiatives
Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Strategy & Administration:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and related documentation.
- Provide strategic HR advice and support to management.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Lead recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Develop workforce planning strategies to support business growth.
- Coordinate onboarding and employee integration programs.
Performance Management:
- Manage the organization's performance management framework.
- Support managers in setting performance objectives and conducting appraisals.
- Drive initiatives to improve employee productivity and engagement.
Learning & Development:
- Identify training needs and develop learning programs to enhance employee capabilities.
- Coordinate leadership development, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen organizational culture and employee well-being.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Administer compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend competitive remuneration strategies.
- Ensure payroll-related HR data is accurate and up to date.
HR Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare periodic HR reports and analytics for management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- Master's Degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
Professional Certification:
- Mandatory: Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) certification.
- Additional HR certifications such as SHRM, HRCI, or similar professional qualifications will be an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
