Job Summary
- We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Midwife to provide high-quality maternal and newborn care.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postnatal period while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both mother and child.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to patients
- Monitor and assess the condition of pregnant women and newborns
- Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring safe and hygienic practices
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients on maternal and child health, breastfeeding, and family planning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with all clinical and safety standards
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Midwife (RM) only
- Valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
- 1 – 2 years post-qualification experience
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- High level of professionalism and empathy.
