Job Summary
- The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to help stakeholders make informed business decisions.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and meaningful way.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to monitor key business metrics.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business objectives.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to support operational and management decisions.
- Monitor data quality and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Present findings and insights to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3 - 6 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data cleaning, and statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience working with large datasets and databases.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in fintech, agritech, financial services, or technology-driven organizations.
- Familiarity with predictive analytics and business intelligence frameworks.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
