HR Officer
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various positions within the organization.
- Source candidates through online channels, job boards, social media, and networking.
- Ensure that all recruitment requirements are fulfilled e.g filling of Manpower Recruitment, recruitment need analysis
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Facilitate the hiring decision-making process and conduct reference checks.
- Job Profiling and compensation/benefit analysis
- Prepare and extend job offers to select candidates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, and legal requirements throughout the recruitment process.
Payroll Management:
- Process payroll accurately and on time using payroll software (e.g., Oracle).
- Calculate bonuses, deductions, and other payroll-related transactions.
- Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain payroll records and prepare reports as needed.
Performance Management
- Ensure performance processes align with organizational objectives.
- Work with department heads to set measurable performance targets.
- Align individual goals with business strategy and departmental objectives.
- Ensure KPIs are realistic, measurable, and time bound.
- Promote fairness, transparency, and equity in evaluation processes.
- Recommend improvements to performance systems and processes.
- Use data insights to support strategic HR decisions.
HR Administration:
- Assist in maintaining HR records and databases, ensuring all employee information is accurate and up to date.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation processes.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with benefit providers.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Prepare reports related to recruitment metrics, payroll summaries, and other HR analytics.
- Participate in audits related to payroll and HR records.
Requirements
- First Degree (HND/B.Sc.) in Human Resources or any discipline; a recognized professional certification like CIPM will be an added advantage
- The candidate must have at least 3 – 5 years relevant working experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, word and PowerPoint etc.), Visio and Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
