Job Description
- The Coffee Barista / Mixologist is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, mocktails, cocktails, and specialty drinks, including coffee design (latte art), while delivering excellent customer service.
- The role requires creativity, speed, cleanliness, and strong product knowledge to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee (espresso, cappuccino, latte, flat white, etc.) according to standard recipes
- Create coffee designs (latte art) such as hearts, rosettas, tulips, and custom designs
- Prepare mocktails, cocktails, smoothies, and signature drinks
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality of all beverages
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and bar equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar and mixology station at all times
- Manage stock of coffee beans, syrups, alcohol, fruits, and other bar supplies
- Observe hygiene, health, and safety standards
- Take customer orders accurately and recommend drinks when necessary
- Minimize wastage and report shortages or equipment faults
- Work closely with service staff and management.
Required Skills:
- Strong coffee brewing skills and latte art (coffee design) ability
- Knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and presentation
- Mixology and beverage preparation skills
- Creativity in drink presentation and menu development
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.
