Job Title: Junior Registrar, Radiology

Job Summary
The role is responsible for providing high quality clinical radiological service that supports the diagnosis and treatment of patients in the hospital.
Employee’s Duties & Responsibilities
Undertake and report on radiological diagnostic and intervenious procedures where appropriate under supervision.
Provide expert advice to referring clinicians on the most appropriate diagnostic investigation.
Support other radiology staff in the radiological process.
Contribute to quality patient-care by participating in case planning with other members of the patient medical team.
To help with surgical procedures and out-paent clinics as directed by the Senior Registrar and/or Consultant to which assigned.
To be “on-call” or participate in shift rosters is a requirement of the position.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
The job holder must have a license to practice medicine from the Medical and DentalCouncil of Nigeria and should havePrimariesinRadiology(NPMCNorWACS)
Proven work experience of 1-2 years cognate experience as a Radiologist or similar role
The job holder must have good communication skills, a strong ability to remain calm instressful situations, self-discipline and excellent long-term concentration.
